The range of 4wd is limited to 4 types. These are the most suitable for a self-drive campervan safari holiday in Tanzania.
You will be staying each night in campsites throughout Tanzania which are well equipped with showers and wc.
These campers are designed to drive off-road over unsealed roads that are often pot-holed. They give good visibility and with air-conditioning in the cab will keep you cool as you explore the game reserves.
The Toyotas are reliable and built to drive on rough terrain.
These vehicles are well equipped with a gas hob for cooking, and a fridge.
Fly screens are provided.
If you are travelling with children select the vehicle with suitable restraints.
The 2-berth sleeps two people but has five seat belts for extra flexibility.
No special licences are required to drive these vehicles but they are all manual (stick-shift).
The 4-berth has two roof-tents. Heating is also provided in the front and rear cabs as well as air-conditioning allowing you to stay at a constant temperature day or night.
